Create Happy Employees

As leaders, we are in charge of driving revenue - but how do you do that? I have been a team optimization/change management consultant and executive coach for over 13 years. I have been inside organizations as a leader and outside of organizations as a consultant. The best way you can lead teams, or a company, is to know who you are as a leader. Frankly, when the light went on for myself about who I am at my deepest level how can I assist leaders and their companies in performing better, well, might I say, it was work! Self-work! Deep, self-insightful, painstaking work!

Many CEOs, frankly, are in the wrong seat! Heck, they don’t even know who they are, and many are in the wrong position. They have the competencies and the charisma that entices companies to rely heavily on their abilities, and, guess what, they are really good at it!

Unfortunately, they may not be good at leadership. They are hired for competencies and charisma. The author Tomas Chamorro-Premuzic wrote a book on this issue, “Why Do So Many Incompetent Men Become Leaders?” While I’ve seen women who are not good leaders either, many more women have the innate skills that make them born leaders. Thomas even said so - and he’s a man!

Both men and women may be outstanding at leadership, but very few understand themselves, their innate natures, which can get in the way of being a “Great Leader.” They don’t see it because before now there has not been an assessment that looks at who we are at our deepest innate level. When you understand yourself and know how to use your best energies, can you change the world around you, both at work and at home?

Revelations come out of understanding yourself so you and what your team needs from you. When you know who you are at your deepest level, you create happy employees. The bet thing about happy employees is that they stay! They are engaged, and they drive exponential results.

That 80% of employees in the wrong seat is sucking revenue out of your company like a vacuum. Why not put people in the right seat in the first place? Twenty years of science says you can do this with confidence, and no more guessing. Only the Core Values Index can give this type of information, reliability, and outcomes.

So what’s your greatest fear? Learning how to increase your profitability - or ignoring the facts of who you are as a leader? Which scares you more?

Don’t wait, take the CVI, and understand who you are and have a language to explain it. Take a Core Values Index assessment, receive a free VAR Coaching session, and join a Diagnostic Thinking Group today!

Time is costing you money!
